Photography - my work

So I had the photo studio booked out last Friday, got some pretty good images of my work so I can update my portfolio and website etc. I have spent most of the night tonight cropping and adjusting hundreds of photos so I can now go on to tweaking the layout of my existing portfolio with the new images, then onto updating my website as planned. Lots to do! So watch this space...

This website is great for finding live briefs as you can actually get paid if the designs you submit are successful. It is paid in dollars but through paypal this isn't a problem. I have looked through a number of briefs and going to be taking some on in my own time I think its a great way to keep my designers brain ticking over while I consider where I am going to end up after university...

Design council - public sector

If I don't read all the info on the design council website that relates to me as a designer I would be stupid. It is a right gem of a site packed with loads of useful information. Here is an example of one of the areas I have been reading up on as I hope to design for clients within the public sector in the near future...

Website update...

I am going to be updating my website soon over the next few nights hopefully. I was in the photography studio shooting my work so I can re-jig my website to show more of what I can do with a portfolio that reflects me better as a designer.

Not quite worked out how much to change the site yet, my identity and colours will remain the same as they fit with the rest of my self promotion material.

Same design with a few tweaks and new details including my new website address and email...
